How well do you remember 1980s game shows?

Press your luck and see if you win, lose or draw.

Being sick had an upside. You got to stay home on the couch and watch hours of game shows.

At least, that's what we did back in the day. The television schedule used to be filled with game shows — morning, day and night.

We bet you remember them well. See if you can pass this quiz about popular game shows from the Eighties!
  1. On Press Your Luck, you wanted to avoid these little red beasts.

I was hoping you'd have a question about Whew!

The longest running model on TPIR is Janice Pennington but she is on the right Bobs left as he sits 1972-2000. Another bit of trivia Holly Hallstrom , behind Bob, sued the show for being fired for gaining weight. She lost court said as a model part of her job was staying fit.

12/12 Even knew the announcer on Hollywood Squares, who's doing similar tasks at another classic-TV network. But that Barker Beauty wasn't Janice Pennington, but rather Dian Parkinson.

But yay! Classic game shows! If you love 'em, check out Buzzr on Pluto.TV or in some local markets. Classic games every day and night!

I caught that too!

Yes, Janice is on Bob Barker's left, not mine.
She made quite a name for herself after she quit. 😎😖🤦

Aha! Thought I knew Janice a little too well to have missed that one. (And Plinko must have been something they started doing after I quit watching because I had no idea what they were talking about.)

7/10 the only game show I've ever watched was "What's My Line". Hey the adults owned the room back in the day.

12/12 I love me some classic game shows. That Barkers Beauties question, I believe that's Dian on the left.

My dad and I loved watching Tic Tac Dough! The Price is Right is a great game show, too. I watched that show in the 70's, 80's, and 90's!
I didn't watch any of the other game shows listed.
So, you haven't seen all of the hosts that have MC'd TPIR, have you? You haven't seen any of the episodes pre-1970's?

12/12, game shows are how my mom & I bond. #3 should of read on his left.
Jeffrey 11 months ago
Vicki Lawrence was just 1 of many hosts for "Win, Lose or Draw" but she was not the first.
DawnGraham Jeffrey 11 months ago
That is correct. Co-creator Bert Convy was the first.
