I've got two unanswered questionsn about the Dick Van Dyke Show, and maybe the folks here can clear them up.

(1) Mel Cooley was Alan Brady's brother-in-law. This is pointed out many times. But was Alan married to Mel's sister, or did Mel marry Alan's? Seems to me there are episodes that have it each way.

(2) Did we ever hear the voice of receptionist "Marge"? One episode (with guest star Richard Dawson) reveals that she's blonde, but that's about the only description of her appearance. But I think we hear her the time Rob replaces Mel as producer and he has trouble working the intercom in Mel's office.

I got 10 out of 12, but the quiz is wrong. MTM was 23 then the show started, not 24. And the Gunslinger was the last show filmed.

I grew up watching DVDS reruns along with Andy Griffith show. I wanted to be either the sheriff of a small town or a comedy writer in New York. I chose comedy writer because I would be married to Mary Tyler Moore. That made it a no brainer.

The last Chapter. Where Rob writes a book and Alan Brady buys it for a tv show ( if I remember correctly

The Gunslinger was the final episode to air but not the last one filmed. So both true and false can be correct answers.
Yes ... so it was a lousy question to include in this quiz.

Backwards. The Gunslinger was the last episode filmed, but the second-to-last to air.
