Track Santa's adventures around the world with this detailed vintage map

This 1950s map sleighs.

Here's a dash of color for your morning, dug up from the night before Christmas in 1955. This vintage map has a twinkle in its eye as it tracks Santa's mishaps and adventures as his sleigh travels the globe (and apparently sometimes occasionally his sweet 1950s convertible).

It's called "A World of Good Wishes at Christmastime," and thanks to National Geographic, you can see snippets of it close up to catch every colorful detail. See Santa hit the slopes in Canada, catch some rays in Florida, sneak past a sphinx in Egypt and much more. For folks who adore the whimsy of Santa's story, each square mile illustrated here is approached with the wink of distinct 1950s humor.
