"You got 9 out of 10" ----"Your knowledge of the Junction is functioning fine! ------I got number 8 wrong.
Should have had 10 out of 10 but I second guessed myself on the last answer. Still a bit surprised I did as well as I did.
Edgar Buchanan was a real dentist before his acting took off & he reminded everyone of that in the roles he played. Saw "Tales of Wells Fargo" with Dale Robertson where Edgar played a character like he did in PJ as an idea man & sometime swindler. In TOWF, when anyone was killed by gunshot around him, the character took out a pair of pliers to take out the gold teeth from the dead then trade the gold for money.
* Edgar always kept his dental license to practice current and his dentist wife kept their dental office going. He even kept dental tools and a chair in his dressing room in case anyone of cast or crew needed emergency dental care. As a DDS he was perhaps actor most qualified to portray a town doctor which he was on The Rifleman
Petticoat Junction was one of those early-in-the-week shows I needed on a school night as an escape. The folks in Hooterville were not unlike the people in my hometown. Kate looked a lot like my dear grandmother next door and Uncle Joe bore an uncanny resemblance to the store keeper in the alley behind my house. When I watch it's like going back home again.
10/10. Perfect function at the junction!
5/10 Not a fan of P.J. But, Billie Joe sure was hot!

Some trivia:
Jeannine Riley was Nat King Cole's mistress. If that had gotten out at the time it would have ruined
the career of both of them. In one of the episodes centering around Kate's wedding dress,
her dead husband's name is revealed. I have forgotten it, does anyone else recall what it is?

Thank you Woody, I had relied on what somebody posted and should have checked out the information myself.
Thank you Kimk21. By the way, it was never clear how Uncle Joe was related. Kate
married into the Bradleys, but I always got the impression he wasn't her brother
so how was "Uncle Joe" the 3 Bradley girls uncle? Joe always acted like he grew up
at the hotel, he certainly knew everyone in the area from childhood.
Maybe the writers screwed up.
It happens, sometimes on The Dick Van Dyke Show Mel was married to Allan Brady's
sister and sometimes it was Allan who was married to Mel's sister.
Anyway, thanks for sharing the name "Bill Bradley".

Not 100 % sure, but believe one of the networks did such some years ago. More as nostalgia.
Some of the products /services in those commercials may no longer exist. Also they probably don't do it regularly as their current advertisers/sponsors are their true source of revenue.
There are several websites that have those old commercials if you're interested in seeing them.
