Can you recognize these classic TV stars with their faces covered in pie?

The golden rule of comedy: if a pie is introduced in the beginning, it must hit someone’s face by the end.

When it came to pie-throwing gags, classic sitcoms gladly took over where Laurel and Hardy and the Three Stooges left off. Just seeing a pie onscreen meant there was a pretty good chance it would end up splattered on someone’s face sooner or later.

Here are some of our favorite pie-in-the-face scenes from classic TV. With their faces covered in whip cream, filling and crust, can you identify each one of the actors below?

  1. Which Western star is this?
  2. Do you know who is in this classic pie-throwing scene?
  3. Which Looney Tunes character is covered in pie filling here?
  4. Who is this on The Carol Burnett Show?
  5. Which Brady Bunch star is this?
  6. Do you know the actor behind this pie?
  7. Which My Three Sons actor is this?
  8. Who is this on The Love Boat?
  9. This actor's face hit the pie instead of the other way around. It's...
  10. Who got hit with this pie?

The Three Stooges had FUN throwing Pies at high society parties
AND mansions .
Soupy Sales was.also wonderful with pies.
There was an episode of Happy Days
where Chachi Arcola Scott Baio and
Roger Phillips Ted McGinley were
going to throw a pie at Potsie (Anson Williams) but Fonzie walks
through the door of Arnold's Drive In
BEFORE Potsie and instead of throwing the pie at Fonzie (Henry Winkler) Roger and Chachi throw the
Pie on themselves.
In an outtake of Happy Days Roger
And Chachi DO THROW The Pie at
FONZIE. In another outtake from
Happy Days Fonzie squirts whipped
cream on Mrs. C (Marion Ross).
I don't know if Laurel And Hardy or
The Marx Brothers ever had pie
throwing parties or not.

I love this website. It's fun doing the quizzes and it's very informative. But this website has the tendency to jump around a lot.

How could you not include William Christopher getting a pie to the face in M*A*S*H "An Eye for a Tooth"?
