Can you recognize ‘60s hits from one line of the chorus?

Big fans don't cry (because they get 'em all right).

The hits of the 1960s still echo in music today, serving as a profound influence and foundation for popular music that came after.

Think you can detect every big '60s song from just one line of the chorus? We picked some of the best lines we've been singing along to for ages. See if you can tell the Beatles from the Crystals from the Turtles from the Shondells. Good luck!
  1. Pick the song with this line in its chorus: “Round and around and up and down we go"
  2. Pick the song with this line in its chorus: "You know I love you, I'll always be true"
  3. Pick the song with this line in its chorus: “A little bit of rhythm and a lot of soul”
  4. Pick the song with this line in its chorus: “I think you move me, but I wanna know for sure”
  5. Pick the song with this line in its chorus: “What can make me feel this way?”
  6. Pick the song with this line in its chorus: “Together we will see how lovely heaven will be”
  7. Pick the song with this line in its chorus: “Get her out of my heart”
  8. Pick the song with this line in its chorus: “You been spreading lies that I was untrue”
  9. Pick the song with this line in its chorus: “Without a dream in my heart”
  10. Pick the song with this line in its chorus: “The only one for me is you, and you for me”
  11. Pick the song with this line in its chorus: “My girl didn't cry (I wonder why)”
  12. Pick the song with this line in its chorus: “I die each time I hear this sound”

Can you recognize ‘60s hits from one line of the chorus?

You got 8 out of 12.

Most of these were from before I actually started listening to music. I wasn't born until Christmas Day 1964 so my era of music came much later. My taste runs more towards Hard Rock/HEAVY METAL. Like Black Sabbath.

11 out of 12. I picked "Teen Angel" instead of "Johnny Angel".

12/12...not bad, considering a few of the songs had words from the VERSES...not the chorus.

I got 11/12 (I clicked the wrong "angel" song)...but a number of these, the line isn't from the chorus, but from a verse.

My parents loved the music from the 60's so I remembered 8 out of 10 of these songs.

10/12. At least I got a "Beach Boys" song as a reward for my efforts. I've been a big-time "Beach Boys" fan for many, many years.
