Where could you find these dogs of classic TV?

The dog days are HERE!

"Bark bark." "Ruff ruff." And "Grrrrrrrrrrrr." These are just some of the sounds one can expect to hear from dogs. Here's one you might not be familiar with: "I'm ready for my closeup, Mr. Alan Alda!"

While dogs may be man's best friend, it turns out the camera is a dog's best friend, as these photogenic puppers prove. But from whence cometh these camera-ready canines? What the heck shows are they on anyway?

Well, that's where you step in! You simply MUST tell us where in classic television history they appear. Don't worry, we'll give you multiple choices from which you'll pick the correct answer. Be sure to share your thoughts and score in the comment section below!

So, tell us, do you have that dawg in you, or nah?

  1. We'll try to start you off easy. Where's this dog from?
  2. How bout this guy?
  3. Where can you find this so-called "Ugliest Dog in the World?"
  4. This dog is on a tightrope! That's crazy! What show is it?!
  5. Hark! A dog.
  6. What the-?! A CARTOON DOG SHOW?! Now I've seen everything...
  7. Look up there! It's some sort of... DOG! But, on which series?
  8. In the name of good boys everywhere, please tell us where we can watch this lil guy!
  9. Where could you find this dog and that lady?
  10. This one is yawning.
  11. Sometimes, cows are dogs too. Get along little doggie.

8/11. Trivia for you all. The dog in "Petticoat Junction" was later known as Benji.

Pretty much a "wild guess" on all these, except for the 'toons, which were much easier. Arf!

10/11. Background details and camera work helped on most but wasn't sure on #7.

What! No Tramp? Blasphemy! I did not know who many of the dogs were, but guessed well enough based on the pictures only guessing #2 wrong.
