Was it Frankenstein or Dracula?

How well do you know these beloved monsters?

As the castle doors creak and the thunder crashes, you feel a shiver run down your spine. The rain from above means you can't go back out to your horse-drawn carriage. Suddenly, you hear footsteps approach, as the hairs stand up on the back of your neck. Your blood runs ice cold as you turn around.

Who would you rather see standing at the top of the stairs? Frankenstein, or Dracula?

And how well do you know those (sometimes misunderstood) baddies, anyway? Do you think you have what it takes to tell them apart? It should be pretty easy! One is the cobbled-together flesh of the undead and one man's attempt at playing god. The other is a weird Transylvanian bat guy with big ol' teeth. You totally got this!

By the way, we all absolutely know that the proper name is "Frankenstein's Monster." But for the sake of brevity, we're going to call our guy "Frankenstein." It's friendlier, but still more formal than calling him "Frank." We don't know him well enough to call him "Frank."

Good luck!

10/10. Not sure whether to be proud or...? An overlooked gem IMHO is "Shadow of the Vampire" with Willem Dafoe & John Lithgow. A spoof of the filming of "Nosferatu" where Max Shrek is an actual vampire and his payment for appearing in the film is the leading lady. Her blood, that is.
I thought it was pretty clever, origand had a few good "in jokes" for those of us who were really into this stuff.

How perfunctory. Anyone who misses 10/10 should be really embarassed.

I think Robert Alda is more frightening than Karloff, or Lugosi. PLEASE! Give MASH a rest.
Anyway, got all of these.

This movie about who really did it and not the one in prison for 99 years. Lucky to get just 99 years rather then the chair. Lucky you have a mom that has been slaving for years on end to try and free you. Even luckier to have a reporter answer a newspaper ad and dig into the story. It looks like a dead-end but then a flicker of hope appears. See it unravel with clues given to our on the ball reporter. As he peppers the witnesses with questions that should have been asked years ago. What will he find and what will this result be. Innocent or still guilty? Our top actor has an Oscar but I think it should have been a half dozen. 3 of the 4 top actors in this are well known. Drama--Film/Noir is our Genre.

Come one come all to the MeTv Friday Night Movie Quiz.
Where everyone can take a guess or make comments to other quizzers.
There will be extra bonus movies for just coming by. Including entertainment for all. Feel free to ask questions, copy movie links and just plain join in the fun via communication. The MQ will be up until the movie is guessed and an hour to look over and pick out what you wish. Have fun doing so. There are no wrong answers but the first one to guess the correct movie gets their names put up for getting it correctly. Good luck and enjoy. See you @ Can you name all of these obscure Batman villains?

5/10.. Before I took the quiz, I figured it would be a "no brainer"...I guess that my brain was the 'abnormal' specimen that Dr. Frankenstein used on his creation.

I recently saw a Dracula movie & did a double take at the critters scurrying about thinking at 1st are those cats or opposums then realized they were armadillos & thought wow that's really (unexpectedly) weird & out of place. Maybe ol' Drac' has a castle in Texas.

8 out of 10. I got lucky in a few of those.
