Can you remember the names of all these animals in Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C.?
Gomer named a cat, a skunk and even a crow that he took a liking to.

While Gomer was a dedicated Marine, he did bend the rules a bit on occasion, especially when it came to animals. He just couldn’t help himself! He had a way with all living things, and they loved his company in return.
When he did happen upon a cute creature, it didn’t take long for him to give it a name, usually inspired by a relative like an uncle or a cousin.
Here are ten animals seen in Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C. Do you remember the names for each one?

9 for 10. If you asked me before I took it I would have guessed I'd get 3 right.
This info I retain yet I go into a room and forget why I went there.

Forgive this bit of musical plaigiarism, but...
In TV land there are such fans
Whose passion will not die-a
For Gomer Pyle, all the while
The super fan's Moriyah!
Moriyah!........Moriyah!
The Super fan's Moriyah!
She will not bend, she will not break
Her passion is like fire
A fan true blue, right through and through
They call that fan Moriyah!

(Apologies to the musical "Paint Your Wagon" and the song "They Call the Wind Mariah"...)

My hunch (once again, admitting it's not worth anything) is that these belonged to a private collection. (As you already know) sadly, outakes were originally considered a "reality buster" meaning cheapened the characterizations the Production was working hard to present. Like, stripping the illusion I guess. But what can be more fun than watching the true personalities coming through. If you watch JN carefully, rarely and then with much reserve, breaks character. I think he was very proud of the Show! 😉
Why did Cpl Nick Cuccinelli (Tommy Leonetti) and Cpl Chuck Boyle played by Roy Stuart DISAPEAR

I don't know to be honest with you. I love all of them, so it's kind of hard to choose which one would be my favorite and all
Well I loved the Shepard of course, a beautiful breed. But Gomer was pretty soft-hearted about the cat too. I missed the Skunk and the little white puppy too. Another reason to watch the Series carefully!
