Can you put these sci-fi shows in chronological order?

Do you know which alien sitcoms, space exploration shows and anthology series came first?

Science fiction shows have been around since the very beginning of television. In fact, the broad categories that all fit under the sci-fi umbrella have remained remarkably consistent through the decades. Since the 1960s there have been space exploration shows, sitcoms with extraterrestrials and anthology series that tell a variety of strange stories.

How well do you know the history of science fiction on TV? Try to put these shows in chronological order by premiere date!

9 right out of 10! The only one I missed was the order in which the Irwin Allen shows debuted. That's OK; I never liked his programs anyway.

9 out of 10 again. Took this same quiz 7 months ago. Found out about JustJeff and his awesome fonts and lettering back then. ✔

Got eight out of ten. Never really thought of Knight Rider or Jonny Quest as science fiction, but I'm open-minded...

10 out of 10!! Now some comments--7) Starman only ran one year and was one of those programs based on a movie. However, it was pretty faithful to the film's storyline. 9) Knight Rider would make a terrific addition to the Me-TV schedule. 10) Supertrain? To quote Buddy Sherill, "It was so big a bomb the Russians complained we'd resumed above ground testing."

I didn't get the Irwin Allen question (#4) correct, but I'm not an Irwin Allen fan so I don't care!

10/10, but only by process of elimination. I would take one or two shows I knew and match my selection with the possible answers.

7-10 I thought I did great until I saw the other scores. Bummer.

Only missed #6 (too many Star Treks to remember).

8/10. I have a few DVDs of Rocky Jones, Space Ranger. I’m a big fan of Sally Mansfield, who played Vena Tay.

Ten out of ten. That would have been much worse if they'd had another option in several of them (there were several in which there were two I wasn't sure which came first, but the ordering where just those two were switched wasn't there). The Irwin Allen one was tricky until I remembered which ones started in black and white.
