Are these minor characters from Gunsmoke or The Rifleman?

Do these townspeople reside in Dodge City or North Fork?

Two of televisions most enduring Westerns are Gunsmoke and The Rifleman. Their great characters and stories have enabled them to live on long past their original airdates.

While fans love the main characters on each series, they both had memorable side characters as well. These townsfolk tended the bar, owned the local store and tried to help our heroes in any way they could.

Here are 12 lesser-known characters from The Rifleman and Gunsmoke. Can you properly match each character to the right show?

gunsmoke was a great series, but i put Bonanza 1st..Ben Cartwright and his boys made family life that more liveable and loving..i find that Festus Haggan and doc made the show more excitable..chester didn't move me at all..festus (ken curtis) was a gifted actor and superb singer..love me some festus......

I was 12/12. sometimes when you see a photo from a show the lighting and the shadows can give away the answer.
