Malloy and Reed are rendered powerless when a drunken man with no flight experience decides to take a solo flight in a stolen airplane at a busy airport. Later, they try to locate a 17-year-old runaway living in a condemned home with a much older man, engage in a shootout with a convenience store robber and search for a booby-trapped bank safe that has been stolen with a tow truck.

However, Beaver quickly re-discovers the fun of playing with the trains and wants to withdraw from the arrangement, even though the new owners-to-be are expecting them.

Not knowing this, Beaver calls the police and Lumpy and Bill are arrested.

Trapper wins big at poker after using Hawkeye's watch as a stake, so Hawkeye takes his winnings and gives them to the army to avoid a stay in the honeymoon suite of The Stockade Hilton.
