What's your favorite song with "Radio" in the title?
Do you remember rock 'n' roll radio?

"Radio"... it's not just the name of a Cuba Gooding Jr. movie.
Back in the day, the radio provided the premiere way to learn about new music. Before the algorithm took over, songs were specifically selected by DJs. Or, in the case of Frank Sinatra, the songs were specifically selected by the mob, lest something terrible happen to the DJ's knees.
Regardless, let's honor the proto-streaming service with a poll dedicated to songs with "Radio" in the title. Let us know if we missed your favorite in the comments section below!

Life Is A Rock (But The Radio Rolled Me) by Reunion, sung by Joey Levine, who also sang the hits for Ohio Express (Chewy, Chewy and Yummy Yummy Yummy).
I can't believe the song "Radio(active)" by The Firm (a.k.a. Bad Company) wasn't listed here, or the Van Morrison song "On the Radio"... could we have some sort of conspiracy going on? :)
Video Killed the radio star is my favorite on the list but A.M. Radio by everclear is my personal choice. How is it not on the main list? It's a little more recent but all about the good ol' days including many samples of old TV shows. Seriously, Selector? Hole?
Another great song not included is "On Your Radio" by Joe Jackson! Fun Fact: this month both he & Elvis Costello turned 70!
Not one of his better known songs, but I love "Late Nite Radio" by John Denver: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kL7lePlfrxI
My 2nd choice would be any of the 3 hit songs that are currently getting double-digit figures on the percentages. But my favorite "Radio" song is one that barely got into the top 40 back in 1989: "Radio Romance"!
My favorite is Video Killed the Radio Star. I always like Trevor Horn especially when he did experimental stuff as "Art of Noise".
My favorite song 🎵 is The Buggles “Video Killed the Radio Star.” It’s an 80’s New Wave classic, and first ever MTV video.
