Is this Clint Eastwood in Rawhide or something else?
Can you tell Rowdy Yates apart from Clint Eastwood’s other early roles?
Clint Eastwood’s long career started like many other young actors of his generation: small, blink-and-you-miss-them roles in creature features, westerns and television anthology series. About four years after his first professional acting job, Eastwood won the role that would put him in millions of American homes and jumpstart his career as an onscreen cowboy.
That role was, of course, Rowdy Yates on the 1959-1965 Western Rawhide. How well do you know Clint Eastwood’s early work? Guess if these images are from Rawhide or something else!

You did so well, you even made Clint Eastwood smile!
I wish they would have used a scene from Paint Your Wagon. I fell in love with him when I saw that movie.

10/14. I cracked at the end. But Revenge of the Creature was his first speaking role and was riffed by MST3K. Watch. Enjoy. 😁
11 out of 14...got three of the last four wrong. I was hoping they'd have the Highway Patrol episode represented, and they did!

I wish they would have shown him in Paint Your Wagon with Lee Marvin. I fell in love with him in that movie & loved hearing him sing. He did get to sing a few times on Rawhide, but not nearly enough.

Okay since it's Clint Eastwood quiz we will put up one of his awesome movies from 1968 Hang 'Em High. Hanged and left for dead. Survives and then Judge Fenton (Pat Hingle) stars him up to find those who tried to hang him. Most being decent citizens (yeah right). Runs into Miller (Bruce Dern) and his gang of thieves and murderers. Quite a tussle they had. There's a nice looking woman in this for part of the story (Inger Stevens). What's more to like its a Clint movie . Jump aboard............
