An amazing 23 in spite of the RFD and horror classic questions out of left field. Lots of lovely ladies are missing. What about Opie’s first crush, Karen? And Andy’s and Barney’s mutual crush, the prisoner of love? Their high school sweethearts, Sharon DeSpain and Ramona Wiley? And the lady speeder? Floyd’s crush, Madeline Grayson? Otis’s dedicated wife? The manicurist? Barney’s landlady, Mrs. Mendelbright? And on and on…. You’re telling me Alice Cooper got his start as a housekeeper in Mayberry? Who would’ve guessed?
You mean Susan Oliver, the female con Andy and Barney both fell for? She was gorgeous (and on Star Trek a few times kissing William Shatner).
