Does this sitcom character belong in Hooterville or Mayberry?

Is this a character from Green Acres or The Andy Griffith Show?

 MGM Television/CBS Television Distribution

Both The Andy Griffith Show and Green Acres built entire worlds of quirky, enchanting characters. Well, not worlds. More like rural cities.

That small-town charm is what makes the two sitcoms beloved to this day. That and all the jokes.

The fictional towns of Mayberry, North Carolina, and Hooterville… wherever Hooterville is (Arkansas or Tennessee, some claim) have much in common. Mostly due to their townspeople. There were oddball handymen, snooty rich people, old folks, young folks, and everything in between.

They were so similar, you might confuse their names. Sort these characters into the correct shows. Do they belong in Mayberry with Andy and Barney — or in Hooterville with Oliver and Lisa Douglas?

For some reason Mayberry residents seem smarter than Hootervillans...ers? Ites?

How I wish such places existed and I lived either place. It looks so much better than reality in the United States in July, 2020.

Hoke Howell played Dud Wash in two episodes. Bob Denver only one. CBS was promoting Denver's Gilligan's Island.

You got 16 out of 17 - Well done! You know these shows better than Lisa knows Park Avenue. Should have got 17/17 but I fell for the MeTV trap again on #4 when they switched the order of the choices and put Hooter(s)ville on top. Dadgum it!!
