Do you remember which actors played these classic TV characters first?

Which Catwoman and Darrin Stephens came first?

There is only one Barney, one Hawkeye. But when it comes to certain classic TV characters, a couple of actors stepped into the role.

Thus, there were two Darrins, two Beckys, two Marilyns, two… well, you'll see below.

Try to pick the performer who played the character first! Good luck!
  1. Who was first to slip into the Catwoman costume — Eartha Kitt or Julie Newmar?
  2. Who was the first Darrin Stephens married to Samantha on 'Bewitched' — Dick Sargent or Dick York?

Looks like your memory was a little fuzzy. It sometimes helps to phone a friend! Better luck next time.

I didn't think I'd come up with one, but here are a couple: Who played BillieJo Bradley first: Gunilla Hutton, Jeanine Reilly, or Meredith McCrae? Who portrayed BobbieJo Bradley first: Pat Woodall, or Lori Saunders?
Jeanine Riley and Pat Woodall. Both of them were fine actresses.

Yep , and for your other question, it was Reilly/Hutton/McCrae and Woodall/Sanders in that order. Linda Kaye Henning was the only Betty Jo!!

Yeah, And she was the most gorgeous one of all!! Betty Jo, Linda Kaye Henning, Paul Henning's daughter, that is.
I may be mistaken, but I think Linda Kaye {She never used her last name, because, if I remember right, folks might have though that she got part due to nepotism because her father was the writer/creator of PJ.} and she wanted to get the role on her on acting ability
Yes, but in interviews Henning has said that people began to think that Danny Kaye was her father, and he had a CBS show at that time!
