Can you recognize these Peanuts characters by their hair alone?

We won't pull the football out from under you — take your best shot!

Charles Monroe "Sparky" Schulz is the creator of America's favorite group of kiddos to grace newsstands, the Peanuts gang. Schulz drew nearly 18,000 strips for the papers while he was writing, rarely taking a break between panels.

Clearly Schulz knew these characters like the back of his hand — but we're curious to see if you know them just as well.

There are plenty of ways that you could pinpoint each character: a blue blanket can only mean Linus. A purple t-shirt? Definitely Schroeder. A little cloud of dust? That's our pal Pig-Pen!

But what if we took away those signature characteristics and left you with only... hair? Can you I.D. the Peanuts gang by their haircuts?

Gee wiz, Chuck! That's a top-notch eye for the Peanuts you got there!
I missed #7.
Who is Peggy Jean???
I believe they met at summer camp.
She can also be seen in It's Christmastime Again, Charlie Brown.
The one who called our hero Brownie Charles, because that is how he first
introduced himself.

No blockheads around here – that's really good, Sir! Nicely done.

Not to shabby! I didn't watch Charlie Brown that much, but I always got a good laugh or a smile when I did!

Lucy: "You'd think a manager would appreciate an outfielder
who looked good in a bikini!"
hahahaha that's great! :)
Thanks! Just a favorite scene from The Charlie Brown & Snoopy Show.

I actually got 12 out of 14 hairstyles right, there was one of those damn Gubernatorial Glitches in this survey. I chose Linus & it said I chose Pig Pen, when I actually did that prior on another frame.

No, that is Heather.

13 out of 14...I thought Peggy Jean and the Little Red-Haired Girl were synonymous. Guess I was wrong.

Me, too. I know we never saw the little red haired girl, but I said Freida for Peggy Jean, whom I don't recall. At all.
Heather shows up at the New Years Eve Party in Happy New Year,
Charlie Brown and is spoken to, but she doesn't speak. She is also in
It's Your First Kiss, Charlie Brown.

i think you need to look a little closer before you post a no to your question. You were clearly wrong on several of the questions,ie the little red haired girl, lucy etc. etc.
MrsP58 cs 9 days ago
I have to disagree. We've never seen the little red haired girl and I identified Lucy's black bangs without trouble, so the Lucy question was correct. I got 13/14. The only one I missed was Peggy Jean.

I surely don't remember Peggy Jean. I'm a '70s kid and was really into the Peanuts for a time--the books, TV specials, etc.

I remember Peggy Jean. She called Charlie Brown 'Brownie Charles'!

13 out of 14. Easy! “Peanuts” is my favorite comic strip. I’ve read “Peanuts” ever since I was a little girl in the 70’s.
