Can you guess which Frank Capra/Jimmy Stewart film this quote is from?

Our favorite director working with our favorite actor. What luck!

Sometimes, a director takes a shine to a certain actor, and movie lovers everywhere rejoice at the opportunity to watch a collaboration and friendship blossom on screen. In the case of the working relationship between director Frank Capra and actor James Stewart, viewers can enjoy three different Capra-directed films starring Mr. Stewart himself, each of them unique and delightful. Here, we’ll be giving you a quote from one of those three films, and you’ve got to tell us which one it’s from.

  1. "When things go a little bad nowadays, you go out, get yourself an -ism and you're in business."
  2. "We've been getting along pretty good for quite a while now. We're certainly much obliged."
  3. "Liberty's too precious a thing to be buried in books."
  4. "When your time comes, I doubt if a single tear will be shed over you. The world will probably cry, 'Good riddance.'"
  5. "You know, every time I think about how lucky I am, I feel like screaming."
  6. "And we might as well all get together on this yielding business right off the bat, now."
  7. "You know, there never was anything in my life that I couldn't get if I didn't scream loud enough."
  8. "What do you want? You want the moon? Just say the word and I'll throw a lasso around it and pull it down."
  9. "I stand guilty as framed!"
  10. "Merry Christmas, you wonderful old Building and Loan!"

Can you guess which Frank Capra/Jimmy Stewart film this quote is from?

Come one come all to the MeTv Friday Night Movie Quiz.
Where everyone can take a guess or make comments to other quizzers.
There will be extra bonus movies for just coming by. Including entertainment for all. Feel free to ask questions, copy movie links and just plain join in the fun via communication. The MQ will be up until the movie is guessed and an hour to look over and pick out what you wish. Have fun doing so. There are no wrong answers but the first one to guess the correct movie gets their names put up for getting it correctly. See you @ Is this suit Alfred Hitchcock or Rod Serling?
9 P.M. Sharp (Friday) CT. Stop by .
Good luck and enjoy.

Great clips! The bloopers were lots of fun. The music was great. Little Susan Cowsill had great moves for a little kid. Their story is very interesting. Not completely happy.

It's good you like the music and bloopers. Yes a few of the group had some problems including drugs. A couple have passed away at early age. Though there are some still singing by group or single. Tonight we loaded up on the movies. All types and I think most are ones others will want to watch. Some hard to get or find unless it pops up on a few TV channels. A couple might be repeats from a year or two ago but better quality.

Funny. I was in the play "You Can't Take it with You" a few different times, and I didn't remember any of those lines. Maybe they were added to the movie. I've seen all three of these movies, and Mr. Smith (also YCTIWY) were far superior.

7/10 . So many of these were from You Can't Take it With which I've not seen recently. I actually think of film listed as Capra-easque ad Riskin-esque because Robert Ruskin (Capra's co-writer) was responsible for these lines.

2 out of 10. The only movie out of the three listed that I saw was "It's a Wonderful Life." Great movie!
