See inside Peter Falk's former Malibu estate, which recently sold for $3.18 million
Check out the compound where Columbo hung his hat.
When Peter Falk and his wife Shera Danese were looking for their dream house, they dreamed big. You could easily apply Columbo's catchphrase "Just one more thing..." to the expansive Malibu compound where the couple once lived, which recently sold for $3.18 million. The estate is decadent and detailed, with a roaring fireplace in the bedroom, a waterfall in the courtyard and a massive motor court for the car enthusiast who, of course, chose the distinctive car his famous TV character Columbo drove.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Falk's former estate was built in 1992 and was purchased by the famous couple in 2000, which means, yes, if you're watching episodes of the series in its final few years, this is where Falk hung his hat after shooting. See more photos here.
