again the shows you don't see are all about contracts and the Do-Re-Mi and ratings

" again the shows you don't see are all about contracts and the Do-Re-Mi and ratings."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hopefully, using the holiday schedule as an example:
The Lucy Show
Family Affair
Good Times
Sanford and Son
Laverne and Shirley
And a couple of other shows.

Not the shows specifically, but that they are doing a little cross-over ( airing some of the shows they broadcast on their other networks), is an indication that they hopefully make some schedule changes in the near future.

I'm sure there are some shows for w/e reasons are just not available, but you're right on the ratings part, as their advertisers/sponsors (the ones providing revenue to their network) probably have something to do with what they broadcast.

You and I agree - your see these posts all the time about broadcast this "blah blah blah"
I got OTA in one tv in the house and I see
Odd Couple
MTM
I love lucy
and others

but they are sooooooooooo UN-watchable because of their 15 mins of tv ads about
not being to able to do #1...or too much #1
not being able to do#2 ..or too much #2

ENDLESS medicare (aka middleman "providers") TV ads..enuf said

Can someone tell me if Svengoolie is replaying at a different time or channel? Thought I seen it come on Sundays if I missed it Saturday nights... 🤷🏽‍♀️

Think it is only on MeTV on Saturday evenings. However those in the Chicago area can watch a
re-broadcast of that the following Saturday morning on WCIU (CW26) Meaning "House on Haunted Hill" is on again next Saturday morning on that channel in Chicago.

I get it (Love it) on sat nights in SE Wis at 1900 hrs after 2 hrs of the 3 stooges (another treat for me:))

This is our Hot Tub Time Machine,For Baby Boomers and Generation X .The programming even down to Svengoolie is great . It allowed my children to experience through Rich Koz as I had with Sammy Terry aka Bob Carter growing up in rural east central Indiana.

I still enjoy the Sci-fi Saturday shows but I would like to see them start earlier like they did prior to The Three Stooges being played. You could put that show at another time and put in Sci-fi type shows like Wonder Woman, The Incredible Hulk, Planet of the Apes, Battle Star Galactica, etc.
Please Don't Forget Buck Rogers
Mystery Science Theater 3000 also.

Love Charlie brown. So tired of mash we need a change
I agree but other than Charlie Brown, Put WKRP and Cheers at 5pm noon
for 2 Comedy Sitcoms.

Definitely yes, but bring back Welcome back Kotter, Good Times, the facts of life, The monkees, Different Strokes, The Jeffersons, One day at a time, Wonder Woman, Hulk, planet of the apes, Mary Tyler Moore, Wkrp, Cheers, get smart, Route 66, The Flying Nun, any other shows that means a lot to me.

Just a thought: I would like to see a Christmas movie of some kind on Svengoolie, maybe some version of A Christmas Carol. (After all, there are 4 ghosts in the story, so it's not that far away from Sven's usual fare!) Another possibility would be the 1955 movie "We're No Angels", starring Humphrey Bogart, Aldo Ray, and Peter Ustinov as 3 escapees from Devil's Island prison on Christmas Eve. It's a comedy with dark humor like The '90s live action Addams Family movies. I'm sure there are others (but please, not Santa Claus Conquers the Martians).

The Mystery Science Theater 3000 version of Santa Claus Conquers the Martians is the only version of that movie that is worth watching. Hilarious!
