Were these Happy Days characters or actual presidential candidates?

Can you tell the difference between K.C. and Georgia?

Half of the names below were characters on Happy Days. Careful, we did not use their nicknames! The other half were actual presidential and vice-presidential candidates from the era of Happy Days.

We once asked if you could tell the difference between Mayberry characters and U.S. Vice Presidents. Now let's see if you can spot the difference between television fiction and American history. Good luck!

It's ROCKY Baruffi, not Roccco! He won the red car named "Love Bandit" that Richie and Howard bought together via Fonzie. It was reported as stolen but Baruffi won it, fair and square!

11/12; missed the last one. Never heard of those individuals and did not think they were real people.

Sam Yorty was Mayor of Los Angeles during the 1960s (probably before your time; Johnny Carson made lots of jokes about him at that time).
Patsy Mink was a congresswoman from Hawaii in the early '70s.
These two Democrats were from opposite ideological ends of the party; they would almost certainly NOT be running together.

8 for 12. I'm casting my vote for Rob Petrie as councilman in New Rochelle, NY instead of any
of these characters.

Barry Goldwater was NOT the Democratic candidate in 1964. He was the Republican candidate. In fact, one of the Democratic commercials against him is still one of the most famous political ads- the "Daisy" commercial. Also, who was "Harold" Cunningham? I think whoever writes these quizzes needs to check their material a little more.

In 1960, a "rogue" Democratic elector cast his vote in the Electoral College for the non-ticket of Sen. Robert Byrd (D-WVA) and Sen. Barry Goldwater (R-AZ), in an attempt to prevent John Kennedy's election (it didn't work).
An interesting tidbit:
Some Barry Goldwater for President bumper stickers, had no words, only chemical symbols.

For #2, it shows that K.C. Cunningham is "Harold's niece". I think they mean Howard's niece.

Whoever writes these quizzes has never watched the shows.

Or studied history. Question 1 has Harry Byrd and Barry Goldwater as being on the Democratic ticket. NOPE. Harry Byrd was a Democrat, but Goldwater was a Republican. He was the GOP presidential candidate in '64.

Missed 4 and 11 but really there wasn't too many familiar names to be there. But then I wasn't watching TV much let alone the news. Like today too much negative. I found the world keeps on spinning and the sun still comes up in the east if i don't watch it :-)
