Were these films released before or after the year in their titles?
When were '2001: A Space Odyssey,' 'Frankenstein 1970' and 'Blue Brothers 2000' released?

Titling a movie with a specific year can immediately give the audience a sense of when it takes place – if it is set in the past. Futuristic movies with what seem like far-off years in the title will inevitably be surpassed by the real future year that looks totally different than what was depicted in the film.
With so many classic and cult movies set in a future which has already gone by, and many recent flicks that take place in the past, that got us thinking: Could you guess whether a movie with a year in its title was made before or after that year? Some of these answers may seem obvious, but only a cinema expert can get them all right.
Watch out, there are also few that came out the same year as the one in the title. Good luck!

It's one of those movies fit for any ole time but around Halloween it will give you the shivers just the same. Something very evil in this persons thoughts. Bound and determined to get exactly what he wishes. One way or another. It will have you gnawing on your nails and fretting on what's next to happen. Absolutely in most folks top 100 movies to watch. It is one of those 1950's block busters. Genre is one of Crime--Drama--Film-Noir. Chilling.....
