Not sure I think he kiss's Her?
Yes, she was in the scene where George Bailey kisses her across the counter of the Building and Loan, when they were trying to save it by giving small amounts of money to their customers who were afraid they would lose all their money. Uncle Billy lost the $8,000 he intended to deposit into their bank deposit account before he got it deposited. Mr. Potter found it wrapped up in a newspaper that Uncle Billy had been carrying when he got to the bank, and laid it on a table for filling out deposit forms, etc. During the panicked run on the S&L, Ellen Corby's character only asked for a very small, specific amount of money, instead of everything she had in her account, which prompted Jimmy Stewart's character, George Baily, to kiss her on the cheek.
6 out of 14. Way too many Waltons questions. I was hoping to see something about her roles on The Fugitive and Hawaii Five-O.
You left out her really delightful Oscar nominated role in "I Remember Mama" in which she married Candace Bergen's father (to drop some more tv related trivia), famed radio star ventriloquist Edgar Bergen in a rare character actor type film role.
