Does anyone remember a book called My Darling My Hamburger? I remember the character was named Liz. She was sixteen.
I fell in love with It's like this Cat in Jr High. I bet I borrowed it from.the school library fifteen times. I got 8 out of 10.
4/10
As someone who works in a library, and mostly in the children's department, I hang my head in shame.
I've actually never heard of many of these books.

4/10 OUCH! lol 😆
I was an avid reader when I was in Elementary school. I still am. Does anybody remember the Cowboy Sam, Sailor Jack, Dan Frontier and Herbert Yadon series of books? They were some of my favorites.
It wasn't until my mother became a great-grandmother that she started hunting for the "nurse" books she had grown up on, which were out of print at the time and only started reappearing when the kids were getting too old for them. They featured a character called "Cherry Ames" who was sort of a medical equivalent to Nancy Drew.
Is "A Wrinkle in Time" the same one where they made the movie with a 50-foot Oprah? Glad I didn't have to read that when I was a kid.
