Shatner was NEVER out of work - he had to work - he got divorced after STAT TREK ended and it ate up all his residuals. He did a bit of stage work, but he was never really off TV and did alot of episodic guest shots in the 11 years between TREK and TJ HOOKER.

If anything, it should read "County of New York".
It's the Borough of Manhattan, in and for the City, County and State of New York.
I thought "For The People" was a current series on ABC now.

Missed his assistant DA series and the Project Strigas episode, but saw commercials of the current legal show.
Just saw the Saturday late night lineup additon of Star Trek. DH will be thrilled.

9/11. I'm surprised they didn't show a picture of him on Gunsmoke. If my memory is correct, he also did an episode of The Big Valley. He played the bad guy in both of these.
