Can you spot which Frankenstein monster was played by Boris Karloff?

The iconic monster has been played by dozens of actors over the years.

It's hard to find an actor more closely tied to classic horror than Boris Karloff. Just the sound of his voice is enough to send a shiver up the spine. Ironically, his most iconic role, Frankenstein’s Monster, is mostly silent. When Karloff donned the famous makeup in 1931, he cemented his place in horror history.

You can see Karloff in the 1931 classic Frankenstein as part of our October FrankenFest this Saturday, October 9, at 8P | 7C on Svengoolie!

Even if they’ve never watched the original Frankenstein, most horror fans have certainly seen Boris Karloff's likeness as the monster. Or so it might seem. Many lookalike monsters popped up in the numerous sequels. Some were still played by Karloff, some weren’t.

Here are nine different iterations of Frankenstein's Monster from classic horror films. Can you find the one played by Boris Karloff?

It is here today for your watching during the Halloween week. The question is can you handle it. If it is too daunting, disturbing, spine-chilling and grisly I understand. Maybe you are looking for something more calming, comforting and soothing. It does have a story in-between mayhem and murder. So chin up and let's get started. I give you----

Scream (1996) 1 hr 51 min-Horror-Mystery+Fun
Director: Wes Craven

Neve Campbell

Bonus Movie #1
The time is now to watch this movie if you haven't already. Will it entertain you, yes. Will it surprise you, yes. Will it agonize you, yes. Will it scare you, for sure. When it starts you will think "Oh look at the savages". They are not the savages. They will come later and then you will "gulp". You will say "how come". Because they can and this is the way humans lived in this area, long, long ago. There will be blood. There will be sacrifices and an absolute awesome finish to it, one way or another. The not so bad savages you will be rooting for. The really bad savages you will learn to fear, loath and hate. Now aren't you glad you're not from those times, whew! I'd say so. Those who watch let me know the outcome of your feelings towards watching it. Oh the movie is below.
Apocalypto (2006) 2 hr 18 min-Action-Adventure-Drama
Director: Mel Gibson
This is the only copy I could locate that is not in Spanish, Spanish Captions or no captions. It was intended with English captions. Quality a little less then normal.

Got it on the second try. Glen Strange was brilliant as the monster in Abbott & Costello Meet
Frankenstein. An outstanding movie, a unique combo of comedy and horror that has never
been duplicated. In one scene where Costello stepped off his mark in front of a closed door,
Strange punched thru it from the other side and walloped Lou, who finished the scene.
It was left in the film and it's obvious when you know to look for it.
Everything fell into place to make this a classic, including by chance using the future horror icon
Vincent Price as the Invisible Man. This flick stacks up with any Marx Brothers film, but because
Bud and Lou were "low comics" high brow critics are loath to give it it's due.
I got news for them, the Marx Brothers played the same joints and Vaudeville theaters that
Abbott and Costello appeared in.

I Picked the Right Frankie Monster for Boris Karloff , what helped me , was thinking about where he played the Mummy , and sort of compared those images between the images of those 2 movies that he stared in, Boris i think was the best Monster of Frankenstein , he played it very well .

" was thinking about where he played the Mummy"
