If anybody's wondering about #12, Jake was Murphy's ex-husband (as I recall, the marriage lasted maybe a week) and Avery was the result of a one-night stand. Little Danny Quayle got all upset because she decided to raise the kid herself--but he apparently missed the part when Jake responded to the news by saying "I've got more important things to do than be a father". Really, pal?
