All you Buddy Ebsen fans out there...I recommend you read his autobio "The Other Side of Oz". Great book as he gives a lotta good stories on show business & Hollywood. I loved what he said about Milton Berle.
8/10. Barnaby Jones wasn't bad but they always had one exaggeration where if he's engaged in a shootout, he can always manage to wound a criminal 2oo yards away with a snubbed-nose .38.
Very disappointed with myself. 6/10. I watch the BHB every Saturday morning after Petticoat Junction and Barnaby every morning right after Cannon.
9/10 I have probably seen most episodes of both shows. There may be a few Beverly Hillbillies episodes I missed as the show was on for so many seasons. I few were lucky guesses. FYI Buddy Ebsen made a cameo appearance in the Beverly Hillbillies movie as Barnaby Jones. Both shows took place in Los Angeles. Well Beverly Hills is right next to Los Angeles.
7/10. I have done worse on quizzes of shows I know a lot more about. Basically, I just went on what I thought a guy that says "Well Doggy "would say.
I heard that the Beverly hillbillies was the most popular TV show in 1962. I heard Barnaby Jones was in the top 20 most popular TV shows in 1973.
Eight. Barnaby tripped over Duke on number three and fell into the cement pond on number four. Betty, get ahold of Lt. Biddle!
