The iconic, long-running Fangoria magazine is once again poised to poll the horror world with the annual Chainsaw Awards. For 33 years, the yearly ceremony has honored achievements in the horror industry, with categories like BEST WIDE RELEASE, BEST INTERNATIONAL MOVIE, and BEST CREATURE FX.
This year, Yikesgeist is putting you in the voting booth, as we need all hands on deck to vote for our beloved horror host, Svengoolie, who is nominated in the BEST NON-FICTION TV SERIES OR MINISERIES category. Here's the thing... Sven is up against some incredible (and incredibly friendly) competition, as his category is packed with the likes of the Boulet Brothers and friend of the show Joe Bob Briggs.
That's why we want you to exorcise (get it?) your right to vote in the 2025 Fangoria Chainsaw Awards. You'll also get to choose your favorite in a ton of other fun awards season races, with movies like Nosferatu and 28 Years Later vying for horror supremacy.
Here are the official rules of the 2025 Fangoria Chainsaw Awards:
1. You do not have to vote in every category; you can select “Didn’t Watch/Skip.”
2. One ballot per person, please! Duplicate votes and invalid email addresses will be disqualified.
