A Svengoolie-named snowplow may soon be on the streets of Chicago
Voting is open now for the Sven-themed name, along with 24 other finalists!

For the past four years, Chicagoans have been able to name the snow plows working hard on the streets of the city. In 2024, the top selection was "Bozo the Plown", named after the famous Chicago TV legend. In 2023, it was "Skilling It" after longtime weather reporter Tom Skilling. And in 2022, it was "Mrs. O'Leary's Plow", named after the famous legend about Mrs. O'Leary's cow starting the Chicago fire.
This year, one of the final nominees is a little more chilling than the rest — "Svencoolie", an icy-themed nod to our own MeTV horror host!
You can vote for Svencoolie, along with five other favorites, on the city of Chicago website. Just get those votes in before Feb. 14!
