I like the spoiled kid episode. Two scenes that make me smile every time I hear/see them. First, when he's trying to get his dad's attention. Opie holds his breath for a period of time and Andy asks 'what are you doing?' Opie, being so well behaved, answers 'I'm holding my breath.' Andy then comments 'good lung excersise.' Last chance for attention: Opie lays down on the floor, kicking his feet and throwing a tantrum. Andy asks 'what are you doing now?" Opie stops his tantrum and calmly answers "I was having a tantrum." Andy then says "don't get your clothes all dirty."

Second scene is when Arnold Winkler is going to get a spanking out back of the courthouse in an 'old fashioned wood shed.' Opie asks his dad, "is he going to get a spanked Pa? Andy says "don't you think he deserves it?" Opie replies " I'd rather not say, after all he is one of my own kind."

"One Punch Opie" love the scene when Barney teaches Opie to throw his first punch. Also has OUTSTANDIN Barney scenes. Don Knotts was great and so funny in this episode. One of my favorite Barney episodes also.

70% Actually Ronny Howard was my favorite person on The Andy Griffith Show. Hecwas such a terrific actor. My favorite episode is Opie The Birdman. He is so heartbroken when he accidentally kills the Mother Bird.

Actually my favorite Opie episode, which isn't even listed, is the pilot episode The New Housekeeper when Opie accepts and wants Aunt Bea to stay 'cause she needs him.

I’m all over the place with this one. I liked mostly all of them except the medal one where he acted like a brat and Opie and the spoiled kis
