Was this the title of an Elvis movie or a sitcom in the 1960s?

Can you spot the difference between a King flick and a TV show?

Everybody knows Elvis. He is the King. But do you know Tulsa McLean, Pacer Burton, Toby Kwimper and Jodie Tatum?

Those are also all Elvis! Well, they are characters Presley played in movies in the 1960s.

After helping make rock 'n' roll the sound of American youth, Elvis shifted his sights to Hollywood in the Sixties. The singer starred in 27 films that decade. Yep, about three per year. Take that, The Rock!

Meanwhile, on the small screen, dozens of quirky sitcoms were entertaining families.

Think you can spot the difference between an Elvis movie and a sitcom from the '60s? Good luck!

You got 11 out of 13 - Did you lasso the right results… or get tangled up in knots? Had to guess on quite a few of them so I will definitely take that score!!

with some entertainers there are pros and cons. Elvis did the best he could. I and many others, miss. I like when Lisa Marie sings duet songs with her dad. R.I.P. Elvis

Actually, if you stop and think about it for a moment, wouldn't you about kill to see Elvis in something called Love On A Rooftop? Just let your mind drift with the idea...

9/13; I had to guess on most of these because I was only a toddler in the 60's and the TV shows used in the quiz were very obscure ones.

Elvis was a GREAT singer, but not an actor! his lines were so uneventful, & predictable, just like the movie titles, & plots! beyond the point of being BORING! l'm a fan of his singing, but definitely NOT his movies, or (so called) acting. 10 / 13

Nailed it, mostly because I went to the trouble a few years ago to collect all 31 of Elvis' movies (the ones where he played a character; I didn't include documentaries and concert films). That was where I learned just how good voice recognition was or wasn't. Was surprised that my phone correctly left out the G in KISSIN' COUSINS, but despite a voice like a disc jockey I couldn't get it to render LIVE A LITTLE, LOVE A LITTLE (it kept coming out LEVEL LEVEL LEVEL LEVEL).

Hardest one to dig up was LOVING YOU, which seems to be out of print. Odd, because from what I hear it's the closest thing to Elvis actually playing a version of himself.

Maybe you can help me then. I recall a movie he made that was based in Florida, near Miami if I recall correctly. He was driving through a town and he came to a bridge and for some reason he stopped and pulled off on to the shoulder. I forget what happens afterward.

Way too easy for an Elvis fan. Never heard of the shows but I know my Elvis movies! Me-TV needs to show these movies on TV - need a movie night just like the old days, showing the old movies!

Yes!! An Elvis movie marathon! But on the weekend because I still work.

Beyond easy. You can almost definitely get all 13 right if you're either a 60s TV expert or an ardent Elvis fan. And I'm both!

13 of 13. January is Elvis Month at our house because of his birthday on the 8th. TCM used to have an Elvis movie marathon on his birthday every year, but they stopped for some reason.
