7/10 A lot a guess work. Are not record of the year and song of the year one and the same thing?
Totally shocked that you didn't mention
"Rose Garden ", performed by lovely Lynn Anderson. Song was a HUGE hit worldwide. Lynn received a Grammy for Best Country Female Artist that year. One of my all-time favorites even today. She opened soo many doors for Female artists. Also the first Country performer to sell out at Madison Square Garden. A true legend!
Thx!

5/10. I would have been 7 but these are all very memorable songs. Hard to guess which one would have won!
6/10 all guesses
I'm sure the 1971 Grammy show was a lot more classy than the trashy stuff allowed on tv award shows now. 🎶📺

4/10 I was only 11 at the time and I never watched the Grammy Awards. Come to think of it I still don't.
1 for 10. Kind of like calling for dates in freshman year. 6’0” and weighed 150 pounds dripping wet. Had 8 brothers and sisters at home, so the whole family could hear each other’s phone calls. Yes we had extensions, but everyone was tapping into everyone else’s ’private’ conversations. I’d call girls I knew from the old grade school, the corner drug store, my little sister’s friends and anyone else I could think of. Going to an all boys high school did not make it any easier, and acne was exploding across the hemisphere with all of us. Good lord I never want to be a freshman again!
