Can you guess what year these vintage clothing and shoe ads came out?
If you saw these ads in the year they were created, would you buy the product?
Whenever you feel like going down memory lane, vintage ads are one of the best ways to go. These ads prove how things constantly change to appeal to what's popular at the moment and show the difference in creativity between each year and decade.
Do you remember reading a newspaper, seeing an ad for one-size-fits-all hats, or seeing an advertisement for slippers and adding it to your Christmas list?
No matter how much they change over time, ads still have the same goal: to gain sales. Can you guess what year these vintage clothing and shoe ads came out?

3 for 10.
Most of these ads are too dated and even at the time were only of vague interest to anyone,
much less now. It's not like they had a ad for the classic denim Gold Rush jeans from
Levi Strauss that were landmarks, so that the reader might deduce from what year
they came from. Or the classic post war bikini, named after the atoll that had a atomic
bomb dropped on it.
On that basis I think this quiz was poorly done.
The ads chosen were banal, question 6 the worst, of interest to nobody.

The only one I feel bad about missing was #5. I simply misread it and thought 1942 was the second choice. Pretty obvious that wasn't a style from 1842. [Le oops!]
