Can you guess what popular '60s romantic comedy movie these lines are from?

These movies give you the best of both worlds, but where are these lines from?

(L to R) Distributed by 20th Century Fox, United Artists, Paramount Pictures

Mixing romance and comedy was a way for audiences to get a mixture of love and hilarious jokes/situations while watching a film when they couldn't choose one or the other. In this quiz, we rounded up some of the most popular movies in those genres in the '60s. Which movies do these lines belong to?

Good luck.

  2. Movie quote: "It should take you exactly four seconds to cross from here to that door. I'll give you two."

  4. Movie quote: "It's silly to make me rake up the past. My womanizing is over."
  5. Movie quote: "It's National Crime Prevention Week. Take a burglar to dinner."
  6. Movie quote: "Is this a tragedy or a comedy? Either way it's a masterpiece."
  7. Movie quote: " Well, isn't it better not to go ignorant and alone?"
  8. Movie quote: "It is infuriating that your happiness does not turn to fat."
  9. Movie quote: "He's so low that when they bury him, they'll have to dig UP."

I got 3 out of 10 right. Man, that's bad 😂! In my defense, I wasn't born until the end of the '70s (1979) so I was just guessing 🙂. This quiz was really tough, MeTV, especially if you've never seen the posters for these movies before 🙂.

10/10. Some good guesses, others I can hear just how they are said, like Breakfast at Tiffany's. That is a favorite Audrey Hepburn moment among many. Also enjoy her in Charade. ❤
