Notice that we've gotten away from naming our children after Christian saints.

11/12. I think Olivia got a boost from Law & Order: SVU and Jessica was made more popular by Murder, She Wrote (I've met two Jessicas this year as a matter of fact).
David may have gotten its boost from David Letterman, but it was kind of popular in the fifties as well. I know--I have two cousins named David, one on either side of the family.
