Was it the Smart Beatle? Or the Cute Beatle?
We could sit around and debate all day long about which one's better. Ultimately, you can't argue that they were at their best when they worked together. There was something really special about the way these two complement one another.
But nothing lasts forever. The Beatles broke up, and then Lennon and McCartney went their separate ways, each forging a successful solo career. What we'd like to know is whether you can tell their songs apart! We'll name a tune, and you tell us who it came from. No tricks here, it's all fairly straightforward. Even more than we're trying to test your knowledge, we just want to celebrate these two songwriters.
One caveat: We might include some tracks from Wings (so, pick McCartney) or Plastic Ono Band (choose Lennon).
