Did these historic events happen when Star Trek was originally on the air?

How well do you remember the years 1966 to '69?

The 1960s were some of the most important years in human history. Great strides and change were occurring in all spheres of human life, from politics to pop, from science to sci-fi.

Of course, this decade also gave us Star Trek: The Original Series, the pioneering series that launched an entire universe of imagination.

Star Trek made its premiere on September 8, 1966, with "The Man Trap." The show ended its run with "Turnabout Intruder" on June 3, 1969.

In that nearly three-year span, a lot happened in the world. But do you know if these specific things happened during that span? See if you can guess if the following historic events occurred between September '66 and June '69. Good luck!

Were you going to ask if her last word was "water"? Yeah, I went there! Fun Fact: Patty Duke met her during the making of "The Miracle Worker"!

11/13! Missed 11 and 13! PS NBC ran reruns until September '69, so technically 5 and 12 are correct! However, since you established the last new episode as the end, I answered no!!
13/13. I think METV was going for when the shows originally aired, not reruns. But, I could be wrong.
Yeah, I know what they meant! I just said that NBC continued to run the show in the summer of '69!

You got 13 out of 13
Some of these were rather surprising, no? A lot happened around that time. Relive the era by taking more '60s quizzes!

Did a whole lot of guessing.

Groovy! Where did you find the nautilus shell designed clock?
