As we mentioned a few months ago, the Monkees are making a comeback in 2016, just in time for the 50th anniversary of The Monkees. Well, Micky Dolenz and Peter Tork are reviving the name, at least.
The two have recorded a new album, Good Times!, with the help of some younger musicians like Noel Gallagher of Oasis, Ben Gibbard of Death Cab for Cutie, and Rivers Cuomo of Weezer. The record drops on May 27; you can preorder it at Monkees.com.
Now, at last, we can hear a cut. Rivers Cuomo penned "She Makes Me Laugh," which comes with a retro comic-book video. Check it the jangly, hand-clapping tune below.
