Was this a M*A*S*H character or a real-life pirate?

''Hawkeye'' would have made a great name for a pirate, you know?

With nicknames like "Hawkeye" and "Radar" and "Trapper John," the members of the 4077th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital sound like pirates. They act like it sometimes, too.

But those are the major characters that everyone knows. What about the deeper characters — the generals, the nurses, etc.?

We gathered some small recurring characters from M*A*S*H… and some real-world pirates from history. See if you can tell them apart!

Watch M*A*S*H on MeTV!

Weeknights at 6 PM, Sundays at 7 PM

11 for 14. Question 6, "Oliver Harmon Jones" was called Spear Chucker in the book and in the
season one episodes he was in. The role wasn't written in any way that was demeaning, and
in the book it wasn't meant that way, but this nickname is clearly unacceptable now.
It's been decades since I read the book but I SEEM to recall Jones was a javelin thrower
in college and hence the name. But because the quiz masters here understandably didn't
want to use the nickname in question 6, I bet most people missed this one.
They should have included a Pittsburgh Pirate like Willie Stargell.
