The Waltons went against conventional wisdom in the early 1970s and showed that wholesome family entertainment could find a huge audience. One of the draws for this nostalgic look at the trials and triumphs of a rural family during the Great Depression was the cast that made up the large, three-generation family all living under one roof.

A funny thing is that MaryEllen was much older than the episode where she’s going to be thirteen and doesn’t want any part of her quilting get together. 😮

4 out of 11 I never watched this show. Hated it as a kid.
I always enjoyed the show growing up however I didn’t do to well on guessing their ages. I got 5/11
I hated the Waltons...I wasn't even born when it started anyway. I tried watching some of the reruns, but thought it was boring. So, I had to guess. I went 5-6....not bad for guessing, but some of those kids looked much younger to me than their real age.
