Are these episodes of Kolchak: The Night Stalker or Stephen King novels?

Can you tell these creepy titles apart?

 NBC/Universal

In April 1974, a young writer named Stephen King published his debut novel, Carrie. It would be the first of many creepy, gripping and sometimes downright strange stories written by one of the most prolific authors of all time.

Speaking of creepy and strange, five months after Carrie first came out, a new show about a Chicago reporter tasked with investigating the unexplainable premiered. It was called Kolchak: The Night Stalker and though it only ran for one season it has become a cult favorite among classic horror fans.

We’ve collected titles from both Kolchak episodes and Stephen King books. Can you guess what each name is from?

The copy of this great movie is 2nd to none. I can't find one better. In fact I only have found one before this and it was sub-par. Enjoy with pleasure.

Movie Quiz 04/19/2024--Starting Next Week We Will Be Showing A Slew of Film-Noir Movies. The Best Of For Quizzers To View. Along with other entertaining movie films.

A gang of thieves rents a room in a pivotal location from a dotty old hen whose lonely, social instincts are a source of constant irritation to everyone. Director's strength is to supply a very clear sense of space to the movie, which continually pays out dividends. The location filming here is both picturesque, and supportive; as in the God's-eye view that begins the movie. The shot joins the locations the characters will need for the entire plot - a train terminal, a dead end street, a granny cottage, an untrafficked no-man's land behind some residences, and a bunch of train tracks. It gives viewers a very precise spatial logic which will be exploited for the rest of the movie. It's also decorated with opportune, real-life architectural/urban events; an imposing late Victorian water tower watches over the heist, the loopy disorder of Kings Cross provides an engaging maze for the shenanigans. The heist itself is physicalized and depends on the elbow turns of Kings Cross. director is either a genius of storyboarding, or extremely original on a set, incorporating little details when he sees the chance. I can't imagine this film being half as good without this sense of location. Movie is a slap your sides, fanatically funny film. Just where you might expect the movie to run out of energy, or hit the wall, the climax arrives and it's even better than everything before it. This Comedy, Crime genre was done again decades later by a well known set of actors.

Fun clips. The FredFlix always makes me laugh. For Christmas you could get a Rhinestone and stud setter from Ronco. 😁 interesting Columbo. I need to watch again to figure out how it was done with the turntable and dictionary. I was a little confused. The dance mashup was so fun. Of course I loved WML! I’m off to copy some films. I was telling KJ we watched The Ladykillers a few months ago. Such a funny movie. I need to save it. 😃

I had it in the back of my mind that you would probably know it, so I answered very quickly. I liked this movie better then The Lavender Hill Mob.

All that you like to watch are worth a save. Some do not come along every year. Most are of decent quality. Many do not show up but one place on IA and hidden. If I had more time I could do most all TV shows from yesteryear . I have all Columbo's Star Trek and half dozen others.

I remember seeing those rhinestone and stud setters and wondering who would ever wear such gaudy clothing! 🤔

I know but I get very tired. Restless leg syndrome sent me to bed early tonight and once I hit the pillow, good luck staying awake. I seem to have my second wind now, so I'll check out the vids.

Great video. I especially enjoyed Fed Flix (but never heard of Shakey's) and the dance mashup. It always amazes me how it looks like they are all dancing to that one song. Wish I had moves like that. Have saved my movies, so it's lights out now. 💡

Where was AWL? 🤔
texasluva KJExpress 3 hours ago
Your guess is good as mine on AWL. If you are talking SHAKEY’S PIZZA they I believe only on the West Coast. I had them a few times in San Diego. Really good. We all wish to move like them.

Great clips! Tintarella Di Luna makes me wonder where I put my black capri pants. 🤭 While The City Sleeps look interesting. I don’t think I have heard of Appointment With Danger. 🤔

There be others I do not wish to "let the cat out of the bag" for now 😉. Tonight we have a slew of different genre's. Mostly classic and some newer. Might even slip a comedy-horror Sci-fi. A couple of Classics from the 30's. Plus a Comedy Crime you may not seen in a while. Next week will be the start of Film Noir Central. Half of our program. If we can't frighten you we'll make you laugh half to death 🙂.

Read a lot of Stephen King but have seen only one Night Stalker and that was more than enough. I need to get more up to date with King; he is good.
Read King novel 11/22/63. Best time travel story I ever read.
Don’t watch the Hulu series. That stinks.
